    But those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) and do deeds of righteousness, We shall admit them to Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), abiding therein forever. Therein they

    shall have Azwajun Mutahharatun (purified mates or wives), and We shall admit them to shades wide and ever deepening (Paradise).

    It is known that the honor of seeking knowledge depends on the branch being sought. There is no branch of knowledge more honorable or sublime than that relating to Allah and His Attributes. This branch of knowledge instills Allah’s fear and love into Muslims’ heart. Owing to the lofty status of this branch of knowledge the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to mention this honor before his Companions saying, “I am the most fearing of Allah and knowledgeable of Him than all of you do” [Bukhari].

    The virtue of this branch of knowledge, i.e. knowing the Attributes of Allah, springs from the purpose for which people are created; to worship Allah Almighty. None can worship Allah without knowing Him. The more we know Allah, the greater our worship will be. Therefore, it is necessary for whoever wishes to delve into branches of knowledge and worship Allah to ponder over His Names and Attributes. Getting acquainted with Allah’s Names and Attributes are two great branches of knowledge that draw a Muslim nearer to His Lord.

     

    To facilitate the means towards grasping this branch of knowledge, we compiled the Dictionary of the Attributes of Allah. We were concerned to include most of the authentic texts from the Qur’an, Sunnah and authentic reports of the predecessors. We mentioned the interpretations of these Attributes as stated by the scholars.

    Introduction

    Political, social, economic and judicial systems in the Islamic civilization are not limited only to the Affairs of Muslims and non-Muslims in the Islamic State, but it also dealt with organizing the relations between the State and its people with other countries and their citizens. For this, Islam provided a series of parameters and based a few principles that govern these relations both in times of peace and in times of war. And in both cases always glitters the glory of Islamic civilization and the mercy which Islam treats all beings.


    Islam is the religion of peace

    Peace is the true origin of Islam. Allah Almighty, he ordered his believing servants, those who followed his Messenger, sallallahu ‘ alaihi wa sallam (which is interpreted):

    {Oh believers!} Enter all the religion of Islam [subjecting you to Allah and peace] and do not follow the steps of Satan; {He is certainly for you a manifest enemy} [Qur’an 2: 208]. In this verse was named as “Silm” Islam meaning “peace”, because it is peace for the individual, his family, society and all those to her around. Therefore, Islam is the religion of peace.

    It is no coincidence that the word Islam is derived from the term “peace” and that the peace is one of the most prominent Islamic banks, if not the most important of all principles found. To this we added that Salam (peace) is a synonym of same word, Islam.

    Peace in Islam is the original state that allows that cooperation, there is knowledge and which promote good thing among the people in general. Islam looks to non-Muslims with justice and teaches Muslims who see them as brothers and sisters in humanity. While non-Muslims not responsible to Muslims, this state of originality, i.e. peace, must be maintained by the Muslims and they are prohibited attack, damage or initiate a conflict against non-Muslims.     Aisha ( Allah bless her) narrated that the messenger of Allah( pbuh) said:( The one whoever requests the satisfaction and pleasure of Allah towards the indignation of people , Allah will satisfies him and put gratification on people’s hearts for him. and the one whoever seeks satisfaction of people towards the indignation of Allah, Allah will worth him and put indignation in people’s hearts for him)  The book of al Termithi.
