عن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه قال :سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول:(إنما الأعمال بالنيات وإنما لكل امرئ ما نوى ، فمن كانت هجرته إلى الله ورسوله فهجرته إلى الله ورسوله ومن كانت هجرته لدنيا يصيبها أو امرأة ينكحها فهجرته إلى ما هاجر إليه
Narrated `Umar bin Al−Khattab: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying,
“Deeds (their correctness and rewards) depend upon intentions,
and every person gets but what he has intended. So whoever
emigrated for worldly benefits, or for a woman to marry, his
emigration is for what he emigrated for.”
This Topic remind us with devotion while we worship Allah or performing any deed that we should take care of this sensitive element which is devotion .Allah will not accept any duty without that.
Al-‘Asr
{1} وَالْعَصْرِ
By (the Token of) Time (through the Ages),
{2} إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ
Verily Man is in loss,
{3} إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.
This chapter is great because it contains four things which lead to salvation in life and after death.These things are faith,good deeds, patience and counsel with right. Imam Shafee Allah’s mercy be upon him said:If it did not come down on people but this Surah is sufficient for them.
