2. All the praises and thanks be to Allâh, the Lord of the ‘Âlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists).
3. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
4. The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)
5. You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).
6. Guide us to the Straight Way.
7. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace , not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger  (i.e. those who knew the Truth, but did not follow it) nor of those who went astray (i.e. those who did not follow the Truth out of ignorance and error). , 
Shaqeeq al-Balkhee said:
((The sign of repentance (is): weeping at what has preceded, fear of falling into sin, leaving evil company and maintaining the company of the good)).

Muhammad ibn Waasi’ (rahima-hullaah) used to say:
((If sins had an odour then nobody would be able to sit with me)).
The Evil of Craving for Wealth and Status – Imaam ibn Rajab al-Hanbalee
((Beware of sins which are treated as being minor, just like a people who encamp in the centre of a valley, so someone brings a stick of firewood and someone else brings a stick until they are therefore able to bake their bread. Likewise sins which are treated as being minor and for which the person is taken to account will destroy him)).

Every Muslim, male or female, who, at the end of the year, is in possession of approximately fifteen dollars or more, in cash or articles of trade, must give Zakah at the minimum rate of two and one-half percent. In the case of having the amount in cash the matter is easy. But when a person has wealth in business stocks or trade articles, he must evaluate his wealth at the end of every year according to the current value and give Zakah at the same rate of two and one-half percent of the total value of the wealth. If his investment is in immovable property like revenue buildings and industries, the rate of Zakah should go by the total net of the income, and not of the total value of the whole property. But if he puts up buildings and houses for trade or selling, Zakah rate should go by the total value of the entire property. Also if someone is a creditor and the indebted person is reliable one should pay Zakah for the amount he has lent because it is still a portion of his guaranteed wealth.
The Prophet (saas) relieved Muslims of difficulties
|The Prophet (saas) lifted burdens from the faithful, and was a guide to them in tasks that they failed to understand properly, which were otherwise had been too difficult. People are easily prone to making their lives difficult, and to imposing rules upon themselves, by which they falsely believe they have solved their problems. This particular human characteristic is one of the reasons why the religion has been distorted through the years. Many societies have dreamed up rules that did not actually exist in the religion, and then made themselves and others believe that they would only be truly god-fearing when they adhered to them. One of the Prophet (saas)’s most important qualities was the way he lifted such burdens that people had imposed on themselves. Allah speaks of that quality of the Prophet (saas) in a verse:

The high morality of the Prophet (saas)
As a verse of the Qur’an reveals, “… Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and the Final Seal of the Prophets.” (Surat al-Ahzab: 40), the Prophet Muhammad (saas) was sent to mankind as the last prophet. He was a living example of the sublime morality of Allah’s last revelation.
He was a friend of Allah and inspired humanity by his nearness to Him. He was His representative, noble in His eyes, and a friend to all believers.
As Allah has revealed in another verse, “We will impose a weighty Word upon you…” (Surat al-Muzammil: 5), he charged His last prophet, Muhammad (saas) with a heavy responsibility. Due to the Prophet (saas)’s strong faith in Allah, he fulfilled that responsibility in the best possible way, called mankind to the path of Allah and Islam, and illuminated the way for all believers. Question put to our Noble Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen after Salaat al-Fajr in al-Masjid al-Haraam in Makkah on Tuesday 27 Ramadhaan 1420/ 4 January 2000
Which is better for the woman, to pray in her house or pray in al-Masjid al-Haraam(Makkah)?
The Noble Shaykh (hafitha-hullaah) briefly responded by saying it is better for the woman to pray in her house for that which is mentioned in the hadeeth:
((Do not prevent your women from going to the masaajid, however, their homes arebetter for them)).
The word masaajid (plural of masjid) encompasses all the masaajid inclusive of al-Masjid al-Haraam in Makkah, al-Masjid an-Nabawee in Madeenah and al-Masjid al-Aqsaa in al-Quds (Jerusalem). Therefore based upon this hadeeth it is clear that it is better for a woman to pray in her home.
Question: What is the ruling regarding looking at a woman (ajnabiyyah – someone who he is not amahram to) and (similarly) a woman (ajnabiyyah) looking at a man whilst watching television?
Response: It is not permissible because generally that which one sees of women on the television are without hijaab and revealing some of their ‘awrah; and regarding the men, that they too are beautified and the effect of this is a fitnah, leading to evil in general.
And with Allaah lies all success and may Allaah send prayers and salutations upon our Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) and his family and his companions.

Question: Is it permissible for a woman to uncover her hair, neck and arms infront of her mahrams – such as her father and her brother?
Response: Yes, it is permissible for a woman to have them – and that which is similar – uncovered in the presence of her mahrams.
And Allaah has the complete knowledge (of all affairs).
